Sally McManus

Sally is a researcher at the National Centre for Social Research, and has worked in the health group since 1999. She manages a study of the mental health consequences of job loss. Other current projects involve secondary analyses of data from the Adult Psychiatric Morbidity Surveys. These include understanding the factors associated with work related stress; profiling autism spectrum disorder in the adult population; and exploring the relationship between housing, fuel debt and common mental disorders. Sally is also interested in health service policy, and is involved in a mixed method study of blood donation and a longitudinal telephone survey of contraception usage.
